'Soundtrack of Asia': a really fascinating article which would now be called 'multicultural'. City Fun, it seems, wanted to branch out from the largely though not exclusively white post-punk scene to acknowledge and represent Manchester's Asian community and its pop culture. I love the way the questions to the interviewee are shaped by that scrutinising post-punk attitude, asking about all-important contextual details.
